The Little Playground

I just put the finishing touches on a little balcony-style deck that overlooks the ravine/drop-off beyond the fence in my back yard. Being rather small, it's mostly to give the girls a playhouse-style place to hang out. They're enjoying it so far. The deck also withstood the test of multiple adults and a gaggle of kids (who had great fun using it as a platform to hurl stones into the woods) this weekend during Lucy's birthday festivities.

I'm still thinking about running a low-voltage line underground so we can have soft lighting down there, but that might be a little much.
